How to use Debco Propagation
Mix
 |
Fill pots, seedling boxes or trays
to the top with Debco Propagation Mix. With shallow trays,
it is best to heap the mix above the top of the tray. |
 |
Level the mix and lightly firm
and water. |
 |
Allow to drain. |
 |
Use a dibble stick to form a
hole slightly larger than the thickness of the cutting. |
 |
Insert the cutting and lightly
firm the mix around the cutting stem. It's important not
to insert the cutting too deeply. Make sure that the base of
the cutting is not in the wet area at the base of the tray. This problem can be avoided by using deeper containers. |
 |
When completed, water with a
fine mist spray. Avoid over-watering. |
 |
Place tray in a plastic bag
or green house, keeping cutting and mix moist, but not too wet. |
 |
When roots develop, gently remove
struck cutting from the mixture and plant into small pots with
a premium Debco potting mix. |
