When to use Green Wizard Garden Mulch

Garden Mulch can be used at any time of the year, but it is best applied before warm to hot periods of the year to achieve the best results of moisture retention. All year application is recommended as soil mulching also improves the condition of the soil thus providing a better growing environment for all plants.

How to use Green Wizard Garden Mulch

	Use Green Wizard Garden Mulch straight from the bag.
	No tother products need to be mixed with Garden Mulch
	Apply Garden Mulch to the soil surface of garden beds, large pots or planter boxes to a depth of 50 to 90 mm.
	Garden Mulch is applied as loose material which allows water to pass through to the soil but reduce water loss and weed growth.

"Mulch helps to stop weeds and save water, and improves the look of your garden too. In simple terms, mulch is a layer of material spread on the soil around plants and may include pebbles or gravel, wood chips, straws or barks. Mulch reduces the need for watering by minimising evaporation from the soil surface. It is best applied in spring, when soils are still wet and beginning to warm. Don't forget to put a layer of mulch around your pot plants too!

The organic matter in composts can bring new life to poor soils. In most circumstances it's important to prepare your garden soil before planting. This is best done by digging some compost through it to improve soil structure and enrich the garden."
