of Australia’s climatic zones.
This is a busy time in the vegetable garden, with many winter vegetables due for planting now. Capsicum is an especially useful plant to grow now - plant it in a warm open position. Young plants benefit from application of a soluble fertiliser like Phostrogen.
In hot areas with arid summers, the end of summer leads to the productive period of autumn. This is the time for general fertilising. Apply Debcote time control fertiliser to encourage plant growth for the new season.
Plant out well-rooted strawberry runners. Mulch them well with Soil Conditioner and fertilise with Phostrogen to get them established and encourage growth.
Plant native tropical trees and shrubs now. Use a quality fertiliser to encourage rapid growth. You can achieve very fast growth with many native trees in tropical areas, to create an 'established' garden in no time!
