Ideas and inspiration to ensure that you
make the most of what each month offers in your garden.
We’ll be updating this part of our

offers a growing encyclopaedia of gardening know-how for each
of Australia’s climatic zones.
Use a complete fertiliser to fertilise pawpaws. Regular fertilising with Phostrogen will be beneficial through summer and autumn, supported by application of Debcote time-control fertiliser. Reduce fertiliser application in winter.
Look out for seedlings of plants like alocasias, anthurium, and dieffenbachias. These may germinate in organic surface mulches. By potting these in Debco Propagation Mixture, they can be grown until ready to plant in larger pots or in the garden.
Control fruit fly. Good hygiene is very important at this time so remove rotting fruit from the ground. The best solution is to hang bait traps in the trees.
