Based in Tyabb, just outside Melbourne, Debco began trading more than thirty years ago as a producer and marketer of organic manures. In the early 1980’s the company gained recognition for developing a potting mix far superior to those available on the market.

Australian owned, Debco has expanded from its small base to be a market leader in developing premium garden products. Debco holds significant market share in the nutrition, growing media and water management product categories.

Debco’s products are now exported to a number of countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, New Zealand and Japan.

The main manufacturing facilities are located at Tyabb, Victoria and additional facilities have been constructed in Berkshire Park, New South Wales.  In 2006, Debco's Sales, Marketing and Customer Service Team moved to Mount Waverley, Victoria.
